The Sunshine Coast Early Childhood Development Planning Table is a local group of parents and professionals whose work in some way impacts families with children aged 0-6. 

The Sunshine Coast ECD Planning Table exists to champion, develop and implement our community’s ECD Strategic Plan. 

The Sunshine Coast ECD Planning Table oversees the Sunshine Coast Success By 6 initiative.

Success By 6® is an early childhood development initiative dedicated to providing all children with a good start in life.

The Sunshine Coast ECD Planning Table is the local partner of Success by 6, in collaboration with the Sunshine Coast Credit Union, the Ministry for Children and Family Development and the United Way Lower Mainland.

Success By 6® is an initiative intended to ensure that ALL children have the necessary support for a lifetime of growth and achievement.

From pregnancy and postpartum all the way through the pre-school years, the Sunshine Coast offers many terrific supports, resources and services. If you’re part of a family with kids under age six, reach out and connect, share your circumstances, challenges and successes. You’ll be welcomed by warm, caring people who are dedicated to helping families and children thrive.

Call For Proposals

The Sunshine Coast Exploration and Discovery Conference planning committee is seeking workshop proposals for our conference this fall. Your proposal should reflect programming/subject matter for children aged 0-12 years. Deadline for proposals is Thursday, June 30. Conference participants are to include child care providers, ECE students, parents and community professionals.
